Evra is a convenient transdermal contraceptive patch that is almost 100% effective at preventing pregnancy. Evra contains both artificial oestrogen and progestogen (norelgestromin and ethinylestradiol), and works in a very similar way to combined oral contraceptives (the pill) except that only one patch is required per week.
